A reminder of the meeting on Wednesday March 12, 2008 at the clubhouse 7:30 Pm. Please mark your calendars for this important date. Please note that the rest of the meetings will be held the 2nd WEDNESDAY of every month. Please come out and join the fun and have some input to what happens in the OFSC.

RESPECT YOUR TRAILS
- We need consistent cold temperatures to freeze the ground and water bodies.

RESPECT YOUR VOLUNTEERS
- They are working hard at this time of year to stake and sign the trails. Leave your sleds parked until the trails are officially opened.

RESPECT OUR LANDOWNERS
- The unauthorized use of ATVs and off-road vehicles on private land jeopardizes our land use permission with landowners.

RESPECT GROOMING EQUIPMENT
- Trying to rush the season can cause severe damage and potential sinkage of expensive machinery. No water crossing is safe at this time of year.

FINALLY...

RESPECT YOURSELF & THE PEOPLE WHO LOVE YOU
- There are numerous hazards underneath the thick blanket of snow (downed trees, rocks, water, etc.). Think twice before taking that first risky ride! Help is always needed and welcome - why not give your local club a call and see what you can do to help make sure trails are open and safe this season. If you would like to help please contact our Volunteer Coordinator.
